Mono Hot Springs Campground

Camping site reservations at the Mono Hot Springs campground in the Sierra Mountains

Since 1935

Campground
Campgrounds are located along the San Joaquin River. Campsites have picnic tables, firepits, and bearboxes (and great hiking nearby!).

The Mono Hot Springs Campground is located just across from the resort along the San Joaquin River. This ideal Forest Service campground is operated by California Land Management(CLM). Reservations can be booked six months in advance of your chosen arrival date on the ReserveAmerica website.

Campsites fill up fast in July and August, so it’s recommended you reserve way in advance, if possible, the day your chosen date becomes reservation eligible. Of the 23 campsites, only two are on a first come, first serve basis.

Please note: if you find the Forest service campgrounds booked, you might consider the Resort Tent Cabins or Historic Cabins that come with free use of the Resort Bathhouse & Spa. See all Mono Hot Springs Cabins here.
