In keeping with The Wilderness Experience, the Historic Cabins do not have telephones or TV’s, just a real relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy outdoor activities and evening campfire fun without modern distractions. However, Wi Fi is available for computer use. Cell phone service is only by AT&T and the Store has a public cell phone. All cabins are equipped for housekeeping. Bedding and towels can be exchanged in the Store.

Two Bedroom Stone Housekeeping Cabins
These popular unique Historic Stone Cabins feature a River Rock Fireplace with beautifully hand crafted Juniper Mantles in the living room with tile floors, futon and a dining room table.
The full kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, tiled sink counter and all the necessary items for cooking and dining. Carpeted bedrooms have a full bed in one room and two twins in the other with all bedding and towels provided. The cabin has solar lighting (no plug-ins) and a gas heater. There is an inside toilet. Firewood is delivered daily for the fireplace or an outdoor campfire. A large outside picnic table and chairs are provided.
The Cabin is limited to a maximum of 6 people. For private baths and showers, use of the Resort Hot Springs Bathhouse and spa is included.
One Bedroom Stone Housekeeping Cabins
These historic stone cabins have a full kitchen with a futon, electricity (but no plug-ins). The bedroom has a double bed and wall heater, shower and toilet with a complete assortment of towels and soaps. Outside there’s a campfire pit and a large outdoor picnic table and chairs. The cabin comes with free use of the hot springs bathhouse and spa.
One Room Housekeeping Cabins
These comfy one room historic cabins have an outdoor fire pit with a grill for outdoor cooking or for a family get together around the campfire. You can bring your own camp stove, ice chest and cooking wares & utensils if you wish to do some outdoor cooking. All the cabins have an inside toilet with a hot water sink with complete toiletries and towels furnished. Some cabins have solar lighting and others regular resort electricity but no plug-ins.
Some of the cabins are designed for families (maximum of 5) with one double bed (bedding furnished) and bunk beds (bring sleeping bags); and for outdoor cooking, utensils, plates, silverware and an outside dish washing sink is provided. The other cabins are stone with one double and a twin bed (with all bedding & towels furnished); a popular one-room cabin (for only two people) includes a queen bed, kitchenette, toilet, and shower. The cabins come with free use of the Resort Bathhouse private room bathing & shower facilities.

Reservation Policies
In light of COVID-19: we are following CDC and county guidelines and recommendations for retail establishments, hotels and lodging; we urge our guests to practice social distancing of a least six feet and to wash your hands frequently. A face covering is County required in the store and bathhouse and are available in the store (open 8 AM to 8 PM). Store customers will be limited at any one time. Hand sanitizer pumps are readily available at the store, bathhouse & public restrooms.
Cabins will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with approved cleaning and disinfecting methods for your safety.
We want to emphasize that the COVID-19 cabin cleaning process takes about twice the normal time, therefore, we are asking our guests to clean and cabin reasonable well and wash the dishes, etc. before leaving. Also, it’s important that guest vacate their cabin by 10:30 AM.
The Bathhouse private room tubs and Showers are sanitized and cleaned after each use; hours of operation are from 8 AM to 12 noon and 4 PM to 8 PM daily. The outdoor Spa and massages are closed until further notice. People allowed in the Bathhouse are limited to people taking a shower or bath.
The café is closed, but cafe made fresh salads and a variety of delicious breakfast and lunch/dinner burritos are sold in the store; our specialty being a large Buffalo Meat Burrito.
COVID-19 requirements are changing all the time and we will adapt the changes as necessary.
Cabin Electrical Outlets: Since the resort is in a remote area dependent on it’s own electrical generator, all cabins are without electrical outlets, only electric lighting is provided by either solar or the resort generator. However, the General Store has a secure charging station for computers, cell phones etc.
3 Night Minimum Stay: Weekend stays may be ok before June 10th or after October 1. Shorter stays may be possible depending upon availability. Please call for more information at (559) 325-1710
Deposit: A $400 deposit per week or the full amount is required if less than $400. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Pet Policy and fees: We are dog friendly; however, barkers and dogs that may bite for any reason are not allowed. Pets are not permitted in the cafe, store, or on the bathhouse and spa area. Assistance dogs are exempt. Guest must pick up their dogs business with plastic bags and dispose in trash containers. All dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside the cabin; pets are not allowed on beds, futons etc. Pet fee is $14 per day per pet with a 2 dog limit. Additional fees will be assessed for any pet damages or excessive cleaning incurred.
Electronic Music: In keeping with the serene Wilderness atmosphere, no electronic devices are allowed to be played on resort property except inside cabins at a level that will not disturb other guests.
Extra people: An additional fee of $12 per person per night will be charged over the recommended capacity.
Check in/Out time: Check out time is before 10:30 AM. Check in time is after 4:00 PM. Cabins are held open one day (until 2 PM) after intended arrival.
Cancellations: If a cabin cancellation is at least 14 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of your deposit will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 14 days, but before 24 hours of the arrival date, will receive a credit certificate of 25% of the deposit for another cabin reservation. Reservations made a calendar year in advance may be subject to a price increase.
Regarding late arrivals or early departures, guests are responsible for the full number of days reserved and, we cannot be responsible for acts of nature, emergencies, illness, personal injuries or any other situations not under our control that prevent you from using your reservation.
Other Information: USDA + FTSC 9.75% Charge for all cabins. Cabin rates may be subject to changes based on availability.
No tents are allowed anywhere on resort property.
Absolutely no electric generators are allowed on resort property.
All cabins are designated non-smoking cabins.
Season: The usual season is from May 15th to November 1st. The resort may open sooner or later depending upon winter snowfall and melt-off.
